In today’s episode, I interview Eliza Curby. Eliza shares how she got pregnant for the first time after being with her partner for only three months. Eliza and Ben were delighted because they wanted to start a family quickly. Despite not being covered by the Private Hospital care during the pregnancy, Eliza wanted to go to the hospital where her mother worked as a midwife.
After a healthy pregnancy, Eliza went into labor at home and was 5 cm dilated when she went to see her doctor. Things changed when her baby became distraught and Charlie was delivered by C-section.
A few months after Charlie’s arrival, Eliza discovered that she was pregnant with twins. Although it came as a complete surprise, Eliza and her partner were overjoyed to learn that they would be adding identical twins to her family. To hear the challenges of carrying twins and chasing another baby, tune in to this week’s episode.

We guess she just had to know if it was really happening!
“When we found out, Ben’s face went white,” she said. But for two or three weeks we denied it. Then I saw the obstetrician we had with Charlie and he confirmed it: she had never been so nervous in my life”.
“My doctor actually uses me as an example for couples when they say they don’t have any birth control plans in place after their child is born.” three of everything Now mum of 3-year-old Ms Curby said when her firstborn Charlie of hers was six months old she thought she had “the baby thing under control” but having to do it all over again with twins is “completely different”. .
“It’s like she had to start all over again. But now it’s all in threes, three bibs, three baby chairs, three of everything”.What surprised mom’s moms during childbirth So, with Eliza’s story in mind, we thought it would be interesting to compare the stories with other MoM members to see what they found unexpected when it came to childbirth.
